My name is Shanelle Dsouza. I am 10 years and 9 months old. I was born on June 29, 2015. I am Indian and I live in Dubai, UAE.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only one in my family who plays tennis.
In which club do you train?
I currently train with the UAE Tennis Federation.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team is led by Coach Mladen.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 3 to 4 times a week, for about 2 hours each session.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is showing up no matter what. Win or lose, I always show up. I still need to improve my mental strength and my overall game.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U12 category and I am currently ranked No. 37.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I reached No. 5 in the JWTS ranking.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Oman and Singapore.

My goal for 2026 is to improve my mental game.

I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka again. She is the best, and we share a love for fashion.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy doing gymnastics and competing at a high level, both regionally and internationally. I also like horse riding, swimming, track, wall climbing, and volleyball.
