Why We Publish Junior Player Interviews
Tennis Papers is an independent international media platform dedicated exclusively to junior tennis.
Our interviews aim to:
- celebrate young players and their achievements;
- inspire other junior athletes;
- give families, coaches, clubs, and academies greater visibility;
- promote junior tennis worldwide.
Participation is always voluntary.
Our Interview Process
Players who wish to participate are invited to answer a series of questions about their tennis journey, including topics such as:
- their introduction to tennis;
- their club or academy;
- their coaches;
- their tournament experience;
- their goals and dreams;
- their interests outside tennis.
Players may also submit photographs that they wish to have published with their interview.
Parents and Legal Guardians
Tennis Papers encourages the involvement of parents or legal guardians whenever a minor participates in an interview.
For younger players, we may request confirmation from a parent or legal guardian before publishing an interview.
Parents are always welcome to contact us with any questions before or after publication.
Information We Publish
Depending on the information voluntarily provided, a player profile may include:
- name;
- year or date of birth;
- nationality;
- city or country of residence;
- tennis club or academy;
- coaches;
- rankings and tournament achievements;
- interview answers;
- photographs provided by the player or family.
We publish only information that is relevant to the player’s tennis journey.
Information We Do Not Request
To help protect young athletes, Tennis Papers does not intentionally request sensitive personal information such as:
- home addresses;
- personal phone numbers;
- personal email addresses;
- school information;
- passport or identity documents;
- financial information;
- precise home locations;
- detailed training schedules or other information that could unnecessarily compromise a player’s privacy or safety.
If such information is inadvertently received, it will not be published.
Your Rights
Parents or legal guardians may contact Tennis Papers at any time to request:
- correction of inaccurate information;
- updating of a player’s profile;
- replacement or removal of photographs;
- removal of an interview;
- deletion of a player’s profile.
Requests are reviewed promptly and handled with care.
