What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Marcela Jaworska. I was born on October 4, 2013. I am Polish and I live in Szczecin, Poland.
What languages do you speak?
I speak two languages very well: Polish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four and a half years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my cousin Olivia is also a tennis player.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Szczeciński Klub Tenisowy, SKT Szczecin.
Who are your coaches?
I have two coaches: Siergiej Sobolew and Rafał Teurer.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths as a player are my serve and backhand. I need to improve my drop shot.
What is your age category and national ranking?
My age category is U14, and I am ranked No. 48. It is my first year in this category and I am still 13 years old. Among players born in 2013, I am No. 20 in Poland.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include becoming champion of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, winning a National Qualifying Tournament, and reaching the doubles semifinal at the Tennis Europe tournament in Vierumäki.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Spain, Finland, and Poland.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I use Babolat rackets, strings, shoes, clothes, and equipment, including my racket bag and towel. I am not sponsored by the brand.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win a national tournament or a Tennis Europe tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to play the Les Petits As Tennis Europe tournament in Tarbes, France.
Who are your favorite players and why?
My favorite players are Jannik Sinner and Elena Rybakina because they are very quiet when they win a tournament or even just a point. They do not draw attention to themselves.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I really enjoy playing the piano.
