What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Matilde Amich. I was born on December 18, 2012. I am Italian and I live in Casale Monferrato, Piedmont, Italy.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Italian and quite good English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Canottieri Casale.
Who are your coaches?
My coach is Giulia Gabba, together with other coaches.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my ability to use variations. I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Under 14 category. My Italian ranking is 2.7, and I am moving up to 2.6.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include winning the Tennis Europe doubles title in Velletri, reaching the quarterfinals at the Tennis Europe tournament in Sassuolo, and winning two Next Gen singles titles and two Next Gen doubles titles.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Italy, Norway, England, and the Netherlands. In October, I will also play in Montenegro.

What is your next goal?
My next goal is to do well at the Italian Championships.

My favorite player is Aryna Sabalenka because of her character. I see a lot of myself in her.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like going biking with friends or playing football.
