Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Alexi Luca Rafael “Rafa” Aldemita. I am 13 years old. I was born in September 2012. I am Filipino and I live in Dubai, UAE.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad and my grandfather play tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at CF Tennis Academy.
Who is your coach?
My coach is Andres Gimeno from Spain.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train at least 10 hours of tennis and 5 hours of fitness every week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my aggressiveness and courage on court. I need to improve my mental game and temper.
What is your age category and your ranking?
In U14, I am No. 1 in the Philippines, No. 1 in the UAE, and I reached No. 14 in the Asian Tennis Federation ranking. My UTR is 9 and my WTN is 28. I have also started playing in U16, where I am No. 4 in the Philippines, No. 4 in the UAE, and No. 89 in the Asian Tennis Federation ranking.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my greatest achievements has been playing for the Philippine U14 National Team in the ITF U14 World Junior Tennis Competition. We reached the quarterfinals and finished 5th overall.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in the UAE, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar, and Bahrain.
Do you have any sponsors?
Yes, I am supported by Head for equipment.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goals for 2026 are to qualify for the ITF GSPDP 14U Asian Championships and to compete in and win main draw matches in ITF J30 and J60 tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be the best tennis player I can be and make it to the Pro Tour.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Roger Federer because he is the best for me, and he is the only one among the Big 3 that I have not met yet.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy collecting and playing Pokémon cards, video games, drawing, and trying different foods and cuisines because I am a foodie.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mom, dad, and little brother.
