Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Zhanerke Toktasyn. I am 13 years old. I was born on January 8, 2013. I am from Kazakhstan and I currently live in Almaty.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Kazakh and Russian, and I am currently learning English to improve my communication on the international tennis circuit.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 8.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only tennis player in my family.
In which club do you train?
I train at Kazakhmys Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
I work with a team of five coaches who support my development.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train throughout the week with only one day off, Sunday. My daily routine usually includes around 1.5 hours of physical training and 1.5 hours on court.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
One of my strengths is my net game. I play confidently at the net and have strong volleys. At the same time, I am working on improving my patience and staying mentally consistent during matches.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U14 category on the KTF circuit.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my best performances were in tournaments in Dushanbe and Latvia, where I felt very confident and achieved strong results.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Armenia and North Macedonia.

No, not at the moment.
What is your goal for 2026?
My main goal for 2026 is to improve my national ranking and continue developing my game.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to compete in Grand Slam tournaments.

I would love to meet Aryna Sabalenka because her character, fighting spirit, and powerful game inspire me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I focus on my studies and enjoy learning new things.
