Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Chiara Holecova. I am 12 years old. I was born on September 25, 2013. I am from Slovakia and I live in Prievidza and Bratislava.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Slovak, Czech, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No.
In which club do you train?
I train in Bratislava under HTS and STZ, and in my hometown Prievidza at Tenisová akadémia Martina Ryšavého.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes Marián Vajda, Boris Borgula, Martin Ryšavý, and my fitness coach Peter Lopata.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 5 times a week. My training program is prepared by the HTS organization, Hrajme Tenis Slovensko.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are power, speed, and technique. Of course, there are still many areas where I can improve.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and I am currently ranked No. 1 in Slovakia among players born in 2013.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I am a Slovak U12 national champion. I finished 2nd in singles at the Tennis Europe Category 1 Košice Cup and qualified for the 2025 Tennis Europe U12 Festival Carlos Moyà in Mallorca.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Austria, Spain, and Croatia.

What is your goal?
My goal is to keep improving in training and transfer that progress into matches. My vision is to reach the Top 50 in the Tennis Europe U14 ranking.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to win Roland Garros.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I met my tennis idol Rafael Nadal at the Carlos Moyà Festival in Mallorca. I would also love to meet Carlos Alcaraz.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy playing football and I also practice boxing. In my free time, I like painting and drawing.
