My name is Taisia Chikisheva. I am 16 years old and I live in Russia.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No one in my family practices tennis professionally except me.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train in a private tennis group.
What is your weekly training routine?
I spend at least 5 hours a day on court.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength as a player is my forehand. I really need to improve the speed of my legs.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U18 category and have a UTR rating of 9.06.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest victory so far was winning first place in doubles at the Olympic Hopes of Russia tournament in the U17 age group in March 2026. It was a long-awaited victory for me.
