My name is Mariya Pavlovets. I am 15 years old, born on February 18, 2011. I am Belarusian and I live in Minsk, Belarus.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Russian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 9.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only tennis player in my family, but my parents support me a lot.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at the Republican Olympic Training Centre.
What is your coaching team?
I have two coaches. My tennis coach is Eduard Biaskosty, and my physio is Vladimir Chepelin.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train on court 6 times a week, with each session lasting about two hours. I also complete 5 fitness training sessions per week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my powerful forehand and backhand. I would like to improve my match strategy, especially knowing when to be aggressive and when to play more safely.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U16 category, and I am currently ranked No. 6 nationally in Belarus.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Two of my biggest achievements so far are becoming the absolute winner of the Tennis Europe U14 tournament in Tsaghkadzor and finishing 3rd at the Belarusian U16 National Championship.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not currently have sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to make a major breakthrough in my professional development and win at least two ITF junior tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become World No. 1 like Aryna Sabalenka and to win a Grand Slam tournament. Every day, I work to become the best version of myself through dedication and training.
Which players would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Carlos Alcaraz for his fighting spirit, Roger Federer for his incredible touch, and Rafael Nadal for his mentality.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy dancing and making videos on TikTok.

I would like to dedicate my success to my family and my coach, who have always believed in me.
