My name is Rania Azam. I am 13 years old, an Indian tennis player living in Saudi Arabia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Hindi, Urdu, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only competitive tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at AlUla Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My father, Mohammed Azam, is my coach. He has always believed in me, encouraged me to work hard, and helped me develop my game from a very young age.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train two hours on court every day and complete one hour of fitness training to improve my strength, speed, and endurance.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my backhand and my competitive mindset. I am always working to improve my overall game and become a more complete player.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and I am currently ranked No. 1 in Saudi Arabia. I was also ranked No. 1 in the U10 and U12 categories. My best ATF ranking so far is No. 50.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements include winning many national championships in Saudi Arabia, winning multiple ATF tournaments, reaching No. 1 in Saudi Arabia in the U10, U12, and U14 categories, and achieving a career-high ATF ranking of No. 50.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Bahrain. Competing internationally has helped me gain valuable experience and improve my game.

Yes. I am currently sponsored by Babolat KSA and Raed Sports Saudi Arabia.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to improve my ATF ranking, compete in more international tournaments, and continue developing my game at a higher level.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and win multiple Grand Slam titles.

I would like to meet Jannik Sinner because of his dedication, discipline, and fighting spirit.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching tennis matches.
