My name is Mariia Varvarenko. I was born on July 3, 2013, in Odesa, Ukraine. I recently moved to Greece and I now live in Athens. I was living in Latvia before and I didn’t like the coaches there, so that’s why I lost many times. I moved to Greece to work with a pro coach.

What languages do you speak?

I speak English, Russian, and a bit of Ukrainian.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was six years old.

Yes, my whole family played tennis. Now, the main players in my family are me and my sister, Veronika Varvarenko, who plays many ITF and international tournaments in the UK.

In which tennis club do you train?

I train at Winners Club in Athens, Greece.

What is your coaching team?

I train with Eleni Daniilidou.
