My name is Anna-Mariia Starukh. I am 13 years old and I was born on September 15, 2012. I am Ukrainian and I live in Torrevieja, Spain.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, English, and Polish. I also know some Swedish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of eight.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, but both of my parents were professional athletes.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Club de Tenis Internacional de Torrevieja.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are David PΓ©rez, Emilio Viuda, and my private coach, Yegor Baklanov. My mom, Natalia Starukh, is my fitness coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train tennis twice a day and also do physical conditioning.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my forehand. I am working to improve every part of my game.
What is your age category and ranking?
I mainly compete in U14, but I also play many U16 tournaments.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have won many national tournaments and continue to achieve strong results. I have also reached several Tennis Europe doubles semifinals.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Spain, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.

My goal for 2026 is to win a Tennis Europe tournament.

My dream is to become a top professional tennis player.

I would most like to meet Marta Kostyuk because she is my favorite tennis player. I would also love to meet Roger Federer.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy drawing and swimming.
