My name is Lara Teilmann. I am 13 years old and my birthday is on January 16. I live in Holte, Denmark.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Danish, Slovak, and some English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I played a little when I was young, but I started taking tennis seriously when I was 10 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes. My mom’s sister, Martina Strussova, now Martina Lee, also known as Tina, played tennis. My cousins Jordan Lee and Noah Lee also play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Holte Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My main coaches are Joachim Föller and Jörgen Windahl.
What is your weekly training routine?
My routine includes school, tennis practice, more tennis, and athletic or physical training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I like to play down the line, sometimes maybe too much.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and I am ranked No. 6 overall. Among players born in 2013, I am ranked No. 1.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I represented Denmark at the Tennis Europe Winter and Summer Cups in 2025, and I will represent my country again at the Summer Cups this year as a first-year U14 player. I also won the Tennis Europe Holte 2025 Category 2 tournament in both singles and doubles.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Georgia, and Finland.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goals were to qualify for the Summer Cups and the Nordic Championship. I hope to represent my country again.

Outside of tennis, I run a lot and enjoy athletic training.
