My name is Ivan Litviak. I was born on February 1, 2012. I am Ukrainian and I am from Kyiv, Ukraine.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Ukrainian, Russian, English, and a little German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the first tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Amazing Tennis Academy.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Andriy Medvedev and Anna Zaporozhanova.
What is your weekly training routine?
On Monday, I have two tennis sessions for 4 hours combined, followed by 1.5 hours of physical training. On Tuesday, I train 2 hours of tennis and 1 hour of tennis-specific physical training. On Wednesday, I train 1.5 hours with a sparring partner and complete 1.5 hours of physical training. Thursday is similar to Monday but without physical training. Friday is similar to Wednesday, and on Saturdays I sometimes play friendly matches.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my speed and footwork on court. I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Boys’ U14 category and I am currently ranked No. 1 in Ukraine.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements so far are becoming No. 1 in Ukraine and reaching the final of the Ukrainian Championship.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Ukraine and Moldova.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not currently have sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to become part of the Ukrainian national team.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become ranked higher than my coach, who was former World No. 4. That means my dream is to reach the ATP Top 3.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Novak Djokovic because I like his playing style and admire him as a person.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing basketball, playing chess, and reading books.
