My name is Gabriela Rezende de Carvalho. I am 13 years old, Brazilian, and I live in Paulínia, São Paulo, Brazil.
What languages do you speak?
I am improving my Spanish and I also speak a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started taking tennis lessons when I was 3 and a half years old and began competing at the age of 6.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my grandfather was the great pioneer in my family, and my father and older brother also play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at my parents’ academy, Paulo Carvalho Tennis Academy.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes coaches Paulo Carvalho and Fabiana Mak, fitness trainers Charles Lopes and Renata Carvalho, physiotherapist Matheus Biral, nutritionist Marcelo Saldanha, and psychologist Marcos Silva.
What is your weekly training routine?
From Monday to Friday, I train in two sessions: 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. On Saturdays, I train for 3 hours in the morning, combining physical and on-court training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my speed and movement. I need to learn to forgive myself more when I make mistakes.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and I am currently No. 2 in the Brazilian national ranking and No. 1 in the COSAT ranking.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements include qualifying for Wimbledon 2026, qualifying for the 2026 World Team Championships, qualifying for the 2026 European Tour, becoming South American team champion in U12 in 2024 and U14 in 2026, winning singles and doubles at the Brasil Juniors Cup 2026, winning doubles and reaching the singles final at Banana Bowl 2024, and winning doubles and reaching the singles final at the Brasil Juniors Cup 2024.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Spain, the United States, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Chile.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goals for 2026 are to play Wimbledon, the European Tour, the World Team Championships in the Czech Republic, and begin competing in ITF tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player, reach World No. 1, and win Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because she is World No. 1 and seems very funny.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy going to the shopping mall and spending time with my friends.
