My name is Helena Strainovic. I am 13 years old and I was born on November 13, 2012. I am Serbian and currently live in Maintal, Germany.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Serbian, English, and German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 7.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the only one in my family who plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at the Mouratoglou Academy.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team includes Sandy Lochu and Lucas Douere, as well as the coaches at the Mouratoglou Academy.
What is your weekly training routine?
I have a private lesson with Sandy almost every morning. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I also have serve and return practice or fitness on court. In the afternoon, I have group practice followed by fitness training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my speed and movement on court. I would like to improve my mental game.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U13 to U18 categories and sometimes also in adult tournaments. At the moment, I play in France, where my ranking is 15.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest successes so far have been winning several tournaments in France, including events in St. Tropez and Cannes.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in France and Germany.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest dream is to play professional tennis one day and become the best version of myself as a player.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Novak Djokovic because I am a huge fan of him and he inspires me a lot.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy running and baking.
