My name is Adrian Granell. I am 12 years old, born on June 14, 2013. I live in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis just two years ago, at the age of 10.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Nobody in my family plays tennis, although my mother is tennis’s number one fan.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Sporting Club Casino in A Coruña.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Juan Pardo, Edmundo Arce, and Erik Soriano.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six days a week, focusing on technique and physical conditioning. I also keep my mind sharp with 20 minutes of daily meditation and emotional regulation.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strengths are my quick feet and my ability to stay calm on court. I need to work on my physical strength and confidence in my game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and my national ranking is currently No. 350 in Spain.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievement so far has been becoming the Galician U12 Team Champion in 2025.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only competed in Spain.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not currently have sponsors, although sponsorship would help me continue striving toward my goals.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to continue improving, study at a high-performance academy, and qualify for the Spanish U14 Team Championship.

My dreams are to attend a high-performance academy, play American college tennis, and eventually become a professional tennis player.

I would love to meet Ben Shelton because he always makes me laugh and enjoy tennis.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing chess with my brother and walking my dogs.
