Former ATP professional Dustin Brown will be at Kandima Maldives from 17–26 December 2026 for a special 10-day Star Tennis Event organised by BM Tennis Lifestyle, combining tennis, travel and lifestyle in one of the world’s most distinctive destinations.

Rather than a traditional tennis camp focused exclusively on training, the event has been designed as an experience giving guests opportunities to play tennis with Dustin Brown, meet him away from the court and take part in a programme of clinics, special events and activities throughout their stay.

Who Is Dustin Brown?

Dustin Brown is a German-Jamaican professional tennis player known for his spectacular playing style, athleticism and instinctive approach to the game.

Born in Germany in 1984, Brown turned professional in 2002 and reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 64 in October 2016.

One of the defining moments of his career came at Wimbledon in 2015, when Brown defeated two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal in the second round.

Brown produced one of the tournament’s most memorable performances to win 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 on Centre Court.

It was not his first victory over Nadal: Brown had also defeated the former World No. 1 at the ATP event in Halle in 2014.

His career has also included two ATP doubles titles and notable Wimbledon runs to the third round in both 2013 and 2015.

His unconventional journey and distinctive style have made him one of the most recognisable personalities of his generation.

Ten Days of Tennis with Dustin Brown

The programme will feature regular Star Tennis Clinics with Dustin Brown and the BM Tennis coaching team, generally taking place from 17:00 onwards.

Guests will be able to share the court with the former ATP player while also receiving coaching and guidance from the BM Tennis team.

The programme begins on Thursday, 17 December, with arrivals and a welcome gathering, followed by the first Star Tennis Clinic on Friday.

Clinics will continue across the event, alongside special activities scheduled during the ten days.

1. Podcast and Q&A with Dustin Brown

One of the special moments of the programme will take place on Tuesday, 22 December, when Dustin Brown will participate in a podcast-style interview at Kandima’s Breeze Bar.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear Dustin discuss his tennis journey, lifestyle and experiences, with the possibility of asking him questions about his career and the challenges he faced along the way.

A Star Tennis Clinic is also scheduled later that day.

2. Meet & Greet — 24 December

On Thursday, 24 December, guests will have another opportunity to meet Dustin away from the tennis court during a special Meet & Greet.

The event is designed as a relaxed opportunity to talk with Dustin, take photographs and spend time with him outside the regular tennis sessions.

The day will also include a Kids & Adults Fun Clinic, scheduled from 09:00 to 10:00.

3. Christmas Day at Kandima

Christmas Day, 25 December, will be a free day without a scheduled Star Tennis Clinic.

Guests will instead be able to enjoy Kandima Maldives and its Christmas programme, as well as the resort’s beaches, activities and lifestyle experiences.

4. Dustin Brown Cup — 26 December

The tennis programme will conclude on Saturday, 26 December with the Dustin Brown Cup.

The tournament replaces the regular clinic and gives guests the opportunity to compete in a special event alongside Dustin Brown and the BM Tennis team.

It will be one of the main competitive highlights of the 10-day programme.

5. Additional Private Tennis Sessions

Guests looking for additional court time will also be able to book private sessions during the event, subject to Dustin Brown’s availability and the court schedule.

Choose between a combined coaching experience or a private session with Dustin Brown.

These sessions are additional to the main event programme and must be booked in advance.

6. Tennis, Travel and Lifestyle

BM Tennis Lifestyle describes the event as more than a conventional tennis camp.

Alongside the tennis programme, guests will be able to experience the beaches, activities and atmosphere of Kandima Maldives while meeting other tennis enthusiasts in an international resort environment.
