My name is Claudia Cairols Aparicio. I was born on January 26, 2009, and I am currently 17 years old. I am Spanish and I live in Ontinyent, a city in the province of Valencia, Spain.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish, English, and Valencian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes. Many members of my family have played or still play tennis, including my father, uncles, and cousins.
In which tennis academy do you train?
I currently train at the Juan Carlos Ferrero Tennis Academy in Villena, Spain.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes three tennis coaches, one fitness trainer, one nutritionist, and a sports psychologist.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six days a week. Most days include both morning and afternoon sessions, combining tennis practice and physical conditioning.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my backhand, while I continue working to improve my forehand.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U18 category and my current Spanish national ranking is No. 97.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my biggest achievements include reaching a career-high national ranking of No. 66, winning several prestigious national tournaments such as Marca and Warriors events, progressing through qualifying rounds of professional W15 tournaments, and advancing in junior competitions.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only competed in tournaments in Spain.

No, I do not currently have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to improve my ranking in international tournaments and continue progressing through the rounds of professional events.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be among the Top 100 players in the world and compete in Grand Slam tournaments.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Jannik Sinner because I greatly admire his playing style and mentality. His discipline and calmness in important moments are very inspiring to me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy traveling and discovering new countries.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my family because they have always supported me and accompanied me to many of my matches throughout my journey.
