My name is Celia Perez Galan. I am 14 years old and I was born on August 22, 2011, in Madrid. I am Spanish and I live in Leganés, Madrid, Spain.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis as an extracurricular activity when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Agrupación Deportiva Alborada in Leganés, Madrid.
What is your coaching team?
My training team includes my tennis coaches, physical preparation team, podiatry support, and physiotherapy support.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train three or four days a week, with around six hours of tennis and three hours of physical training. On Saturdays and/or Sundays, I usually compete in matches.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my forehand and my fighting spirit on every point. I need to improve my mental strength when things are not going well during matches.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Cadete U16 category. My national ranking in Spain is No. 851, and my ranking in my category is No. 244.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My achievements include being recognized by the Madrid Tennis Federation for finishing first in the 2025 Challenger tournaments in the Infantil category, winning the Cadete title at Ciudad de la Raqueta in April 2026, winning the Infantil national IBP tournament in Mora, Toledo, in May 2025, winning the Infantil Sek Internacional tournament in Alcorcón in July 2025, winning the Alevín doubles Grand Slam tournament in Alborán in November 2023, becoming team champion in Madrid Cadete in May 2025, and winning more than 26 regional tournaments.

I have played tournaments in Spain.

No, I do not currently have sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to continue growing as a tennis player and improving my weak points. I also hope to stay injury-free, as I have had to recover from several injuries over the past six months.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to one day make a living from tennis because it is my passion and I love it.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Novak Djokovic because he is my favorite player and an idol for me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I love enjoying my other great passion, football, and watching my favorite team, Real Madrid. I also love doing things with my family, such as going to the cinema and going for walks.
