My name is Adela Gorna. I am 13 years old and I was born on December 20, 2012. I am from Slovakia and I live in Nové Mesto nad Váhom.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Slovak and English, and I am also learning German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My parents play tennis occasionally.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at HSC Piešťany, and I also work with my personal coach.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes a tennis coach, a fitness coach, and my dad, who is also my physio.
What is your weekly training routine?
On Monday I do fitness training. Tuesday includes training with my personal coach and an evening session with my friends at the club. On Wednesday I train with my personal coach. Thursday includes tennis practice and athletics. Friday is training with my friends at the club. Saturday is dedicated to fitness, while Sunday is either a free day or sparring practice.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I have good footwork, and I would like to improve my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and my live ranking is No. 4 in Slovakia.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I won the U12 regional championships in singles and doubles, and this year I also won Category A and Category B tournaments in Slovakia.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Austria, Czechia, and Slovenia.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not currently have sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
I want to stay in the top five of the Slovak rankings and qualify for the Slovakia President Cup.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and compete in Grand Slam tournaments.

I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because I love her energy on the court.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy skiing, dancing, and running outdoors.
