My name is Rafaella Carcamo. I am 9 years old and I was born on November 20, 2016. I am Chilean and I live in Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was seven years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Academia de Tenis GBM Quilpué.
What is your coaching team?
My academy coaches are Gonzalo Bravo, Felipe Barria, Esteban Toledo, Valentina Salinas, Tomás Merello, Felipe Miranda, and Alvaro Espinoza, with support from Marcelo Squella and Hans Cuevas.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is not giving up and fighting until the end. I need to improve managing my emotions.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in Girls 10. I am ranked No. 4 in the national circuit and No. 2 in the regional circuit.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements so far include applying everything I have learned in my development stage, becoming champion in every category I have participated in, and qualifying for last year’s national tournament in an older category, where I finished No. 7.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Chile.

No, I do not currently have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to qualify for the Girls 10 national tennis tournament and find a sports equipment sponsor to support my career.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become a professional player and win Roland Garros.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because of her fighting spirit and way of playing, and Carlos Alcaraz because of his playing style and because he fights on court like me.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like playing with my friends and my pets.
