What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Andjela Scopulovic. I was born on December 4, 2012. I am Serbian and I am from Belgrade.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Serbian, English, and a little bit of German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was five years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Agrimes Tennis Club.
Who are your coaches?
My tennis coaches are Stefan and Vanja, and my fitness coaches are Boris and Strahinja.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my backhand, and I am currently working on improving my footwork.
What is your age category?
I am finishing my last year in U14, starting to play U16, and transitioning to ITF Junior tournaments.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include representing the Serbian national team three times, reaching four singles finals and five doubles finals, and making many semifinals on the Tennis Europe Tour. I have also been runner-up at the National Championship three times.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in France, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Turkey, and Serbia.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I play with Head rackets and I am sponsored by Head. I mostly wear Nike clothing and shoes, and I hope to be sponsored by Nike one day.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win an ITF title.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to one day win the US Open. I know it takes really hard work, but I will give everything I can to achieve it.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Aryna Sabalenka because I love her aggressive and powerful style of play, which inspires me a lot.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy learning new things and spending quality time having fun with my friends.
