My name is Ana Sofía Alvarado Martínez. I was born on November 27, 2014. I am Guatemalan and I live in Retalhuleu, Guatemala.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and a little English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am the first tennis player in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at La Trinidad Retalhuleu.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Wilfredo Gonzales and Manuel Lemus.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my character and my forehand. I need to improve my shots.

I compete in the U12 category and I am ranked No. 2 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include becoming national champion twice, doubles national champion twice, doubles champion and singles runner-up at COTECC Aruba, and a Little Mo USA doubles finalist.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy traveling.
