What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Aleksandra Poroshina. I was born in Moscow on January 23, 2012. I am Russian.
What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Russian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of five or six.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
I am the only one in my family who plays tennis professionally.
In which tennis club do you train?
I currently train at the Moscow Tennis Academy.
Who are your coaches?
My coach is Eduard Safonov.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I believe my greatest strength is my composure and confidence in what I do on court. Technique, however, can always be improved.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I currently compete in the U14 age category. My best singles national ranking, which I reached in 2026, is No. 10, and my best national ranking in doubles is No. 4.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My main achievements so far include singles and doubles victories at Tennis Europe events. I have reached the singles semifinals at a J30 in Male twice, and I have also been a doubles runner-up there twice. In addition, I won the doubles title at a J60 in Baku.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have already played tournaments in Russia, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and the Maldives. I plan to play in other countries across Asia, Oceania, and Europe.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
I currently use HEAD shoes, Babolat rackets, Solinco strings, and mostly Nike and Adidas clothing. I am currently looking for a sponsor.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to reach the main draw of a J100 and win a tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to win a Grand Slam tournament.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Elena Rybakina because of her mental and tactical strength.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside tennis, I enjoy painting nature and animal-themed pictures.
