What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Aisling Naughton. I was born on December 22, 2012. I am Irish and I live in Dublin, Ireland.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Irish, English, and French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing competitive tennis at 10 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother also plays tennis.
In which tennis clubs or academies do you train?
I train at Leopardstown and Prodigy.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Lazo Kukhalashvili and Garry Cahill.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my ability to mix up my game. I need to improve playing in hot conditions.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 category. I am ranked No. 2 in Ireland U14 and No. 98 in Europe.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes so far include winning a Tennis Europe tournament and playing for Ireland.

My next goal is to win another Tennis Europe tournament or an ITF tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to play high-level tennis and go to college in America while maintaining a good education.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz because he mixes up his game well and always has a good attitude.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing other sports such as GAA, Ireland’s national sport, swimming, and athletics. I also love school.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mum because she is always supporting me and everything I do.
