What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Aleka Kukrik. I was born on July 5, 2012, and I live in Belgrade, Serbia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Serbian and English, and I am learning French at school.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad played tennis when he was young.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Set Net Tennis Club.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Radovan Lakic and Vladimir Jovanovic, and my fitness coach is Boris Kuzmanovic.
What is your greatest strength as a player?
My greatest strength as a player is my mental strength.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U14 and U16 age categories. My best U14 ranking in Serbia is No. 1, and my best Tennis Europe U14 ranking is No. 40.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have won 10 titles and reached 10 finals in singles and doubles at Tennis Europe tournaments. I have also played for the Serbian national team in the U12 and U14 categories.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments all over Europe, including Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I use Yonex rackets and Nike shoes, but I do not have sponsorships from them.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win ITF tournaments and play at junior Grand Slams.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become World No. 1 and win Roland-Garros.
Who are your favorite players?
My favorite players are Novak Djokovic and Elena Rybakina.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like playing with my dog, traveling and discovering new places, drawing, and doing creative things.
