My name is Zannah Roberson. I am 15 years old and I was born on January 29, 2010. I am an American tennis player and I live in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes. My dad plays tennis, and my twin sister, Braelyn, also competes in tennis.
Where do you train?
I train with the men’s assistant coach at UNCW.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes a mental coach, an agility coach, and two tennis coaches, including my dad.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train between 3 and 5 hours of tennis per day. I also do agility training twice a week and mental training sessions two to three times per month.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my forehand. The area I am currently working hardest on is improving my serve.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U16 category and also play U18 events. My current national ranking is No. 1911, and I am working hard to continue improving it.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements so far have been earning a sponsorship and winning the consolation title at the Winter Southern Championships.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only competed in the United States, but I plan to play my first international tournament this summer.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to reach an 8 UTR rating.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Maria Sakkari. When I was younger, she gave me a tennis ball, and I have been a fan of hers ever since.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy fishing and spending time by the water.
Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?
I would like to dedicate this interview to my mom and dad. My mom takes my twin sister and me everywhere, and my dad trains us and constantly helps us improve.
