My name is Yasmin Beliktay. I am 12 years old. I was born on June 23, 2014. I am Turkish and I live in Istanbul.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Turkish, Russian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 6.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father, mother, and little sister play tennis as a hobby.
In which club do you train?
I train at Istanbul Tennis Academy.
Who is your coach?
My head coach is Ata Hergunvarim.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 15 hours of tennis per week and 8 hours of fitness training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my speed and energy on court. I always try to do my best. I need to improve my overall game.
What is your age category?
I compete in the U12 category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I was selected for the Smrikva Bowl tournament in Croatia, where only 32 girls and 32 boys from all over the world compete.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Serbia, and Bulgaria.

No, unfortunately I do not have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to improve my tennis skills and win more tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play Grand Slam tournaments and Wimbledon one day.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I admire Serena Williams a lot because she is a great champion and an inspiration to me. She works very hard and never gives up. I would love to learn from her and maybe get advice to become a better tennis player.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I really enjoy dancing.
