My name is Warde Simon. I am 13 years old, born on August 10, 2012. I am Honduran and I live in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Spanish, and I am currently learning French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 3 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my younger brother and younger sister also play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I do not train at a specific club. Depending on where I am, I train with coaches Carlos Caceres, Eugenio Pellman, Christian Simondini, Victor Sanakai, Douglas Castillo, Maydel Reyes, and Alejandra Obando.
What is your coaching team?
My biggest support team is God, my family, and all the coaches who help me during my journey.
What is your weekly training routine?
My daily routine starts from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on court, followed by gym training from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Later in the day, I train in the gym from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and return to the court from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my mental toughness. I want to continue working harder to improve my explosiveness.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U14 category and I am currently ranked No. 1.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my biggest achievements include becoming U12 Central America Champion on the CONTECA Circuit in El Salvador, winning multiple Honduras National titles across G10, G12 and G14 categories, winning several USTA events in the United States, and reaching finals in international events including the 2026 BJKCJ Central America Pre-Qualifying, WJT Central America Pre-Qualifying, JITIC doubles, and the U14 Central America Playoff for the Stade FranΓ§ais International Tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and the United States.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win my first ITF title.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to prove that dreams can come true by becoming World No. 1.

I would most like to meet Elina Svitolina because she is a great example of resilience.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy beating my dad in ping pong every single time, trying different foods while traveling, and meeting quality people.
