What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Tala Ahmed Noureldine. I was born on September 29, 2009. I am Egyptian and I live in Cairo, Egypt.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic, English, and French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was around four years old, and I have been playing competitively and seriously for about four years now.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Tennis is a big part of my family. My three brothers and my little sister all played tennis, and some of my cousins play too.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Wadi Degla Sporting Club in Egypt.
Who are your coaches?
My private tennis coach is Karim Maamoun, who was also a professional tennis player, and my fitness coach is Moemen Badry.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
One of my biggest strengths is my fighting spirit. I always try to fight for every point and never give up, even when I am losing. I am currently working on improving my serve, consistency, movement, and becoming more aggressive in my game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I am currently in the U18 category. My current national ranking is No. 9 in U18 and No. 25 in the women’s category. I used to play the national circuit, but I have not played it for quite some time now.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my biggest achievements so far is reaching two ITF singles finals. I have also had several strong results in ITF tournaments, including doubles titles and semifinal appearances.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Egypt, Kenya, Togo, and Algeria.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I wear Nike, including Nike shoes and clothes. I use a Babolat racket, a Wilson bag, and Kirschbaum strings. I am sponsored by Kirschbaum for wristbands, strings, grips, and T-shirts.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to reach the Top 200 in the ITF rankings and qualify for and play in a Junior Grand Slam.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest tennis dream is to play in all four Grand Slams at the professional level. I also dream of getting a tennis scholarship at a top university in the USA and continuing to compete at a high level while studying.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz. I love the way he fights for every point and never gives up, no matter what the score is. I really admire his energy, fighting spirit, and mentality, and I hope I can be like him one day.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my family and coaches, because they have always supported me and believed in me throughout my tennis journey.
