My name is Somon Amonov. I am 18 years old and I was born on March 30, 2008. I am Tajikistani and I am from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Tajik, Russian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was nine years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father played tennis and was my first coach.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Tojvarz Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Rustam Sharafovich and Abdurasul Mukhiddinov.
What is your weekly training routine?

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my fighting spirit. I want to improve my consistency and physical condition.

My greatest successes include winning four ITF J30 singles titles, one ITF J60 singles title, and five ITF doubles titles. I have also been a J60 singles finalist, J60 doubles finalist, and J100 doubles finalist.

My goal for 2026 is to improve my ITF ranking and win more international tournaments.

My favorite player is Roger Federer because of his technique, mentality, and professionalism.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, relaxing, and watching tennis.
