What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Pippa Fennis. I was born on August 10, 2011, and I am Dutch.
What languages do you speak?
Dutch, English, French, and a little Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother Rafael Fennis (also in the Top 30 for his age), my father Daniel, and my mother Sofie all play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
Bosheim.
Who are your coaches?
My father, Daniel Fennis.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
Counterpuncher, and I need to improve everything! 🙂
What is your age category and national ranking?
My current ITF junior ranking is No. 344.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Winning national championships back-to-back a couple of times.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
Too many to name.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
Dunlop, Vuori, and K-Swiss. Yes, I am sponsored by all three.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to make my first steps in WTA.
What is your tennis dream?
To play the US Open and become a top player.
Who is your favorite player and why?
Andreeva or Jovic at the moment.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I like to prank friends, have fun, listen to music and play with my dachshund.
