Alice Reznikau · Interview, October 2026

What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Alice Reznikau. I was born on January 18, 2014. I am a French player of Russian origin, and I live in Bordeaux, France.
What languages do you speak?
French, Russian, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I was four and a half years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My mother, my sister, and my brother play at the same club as me.
In which tennis club do you train?
Villa Primrose Bordeaux.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Laurent Gabai, Camille Moga, Bertrand Alix, and Stéphanie Saillard. Florence Borgella coached me in my earlier years.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I serve well, and I am mentally tough! But I need to work on being more consistent and dare to attack more with my forehand.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I play in U12. We do not have a national ranking in France, but I am on the list of the best players of my age (the list is rather long, I have to say :))).
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I played in the qualifiers for Super Auray this year and recently qualified for the final phase of the French team championship for 13/14-year-olds.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I love traveling to meet new people and make friendships that last many years! I have played Tennis Europe tournaments in Spain, Belgium, Portugal, and France.
What equipment brands do you currently use (racket, string, shoes, clothing…), and are you sponsored by any of them?
Tecnifibre rackets, Asics/Nike shoes, and Tecnifibre/Nike/Adidas clothes. I have support from Tecnifibre. Thank you so much, Morgan and Killian!
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win tomorrow’s match and reach 5/6 (this is our French national ranking system, which is mega-complicated).
What is your tennis dream?
To travel the world as a tennis pro and win a lot of prize money and sponsor contracts!
Who is your favorite player and why?
Alexander Zverev because he plays the same style as I do. He is tall and serves well.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Spending time with friends, definitely. I am a social type. And my family. I also play golf.
Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?
My mom.
Alice, thank you for the interview 🎾
Tennis Papers wishes you all the best in your tennis journey and future tournaments 💜
