My name is Nout Groen. I am 13 years old. I was born on March 14, and I am from the Netherlands. I live in Bergen op Zoom.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Dutch and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old in Bergen op Zoom at Smash.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my parents also play tennis, and my brother and sister used to play.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train in Roosendaal at Yuniqq, but I also often play in Bergen op Zoom at Smash club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Luc Govers, Eric Hoopenbrouwers, and Bobbie de Goeijen.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train tennis six times a week and do physical training two times a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My strong point is my forehand, and I need to improve staying mentally calm, although that is getting better.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Under 14 category and I have been ranked No. 14 in the Netherlands (2013 birth year).
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My best result was reaching the semi-finals of the National Championships in doubles.
