My name is Meriem Bouaouina. I am 15 years old. I was born in 2011. I am Algerian and I live in Algiers.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English, French, and Arabic.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother, sister, and cousin all play tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at CRBBK Tennis Club.
What is your training environment?
I train in a group with three girls and three boys.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train about three hours a day, five times a week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my serve and forehand. I need to improve my footwork.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I compete in the U16 category and I am currently ranked No. 1 nationally in my country.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest success so far was reaching the quarterfinals of an ITF J30 tournament.
