Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Alisa Dubrovina. I am 11 years old. I was born on March 7, 2015. I am Russian and I live in Limassol, Cyprus.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 10.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
There are no tennis players in my family, but my dad is a professional athlete and a Master of Sport in diving and swimming.
In which club do you train?
I train at Ioannides Tennis Academy & Premier Club in Limassol, Cyprus.
Who are your coaches?
My head coach is Polis Ioannides, who is also the owner of the academy. I also train with Mikaella Iosif and Theodoros Sofroniou.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train around 10 hours of tennis and about 6 hours of physical training per week.
What is your age category and your ranking?
My category is U12. I do not have a national ranking yet because I will start playing tournaments this summer.
What have been your best performances so far?
My tournament journey is just beginning, and I am preparing for my first official tournaments this summer.
Do you have any sponsors?
Not yet.
What racket do you play with?
I play with a HEAD racket.
In which countries have you played or trained?
So far, I have only trained in Cyprus. My first tournaments will also begin here.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become World No. 1 and win Wimbledon one day.
Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite players are Aryna Sabalenka, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I work as a professional child model. I enjoy photo shoots, commercial filming, drawing, crafting, acting in theatre, and playing the drums.
