My name is Matthew Morris. I am 15 years old and I was born on December 16, 2010. I am Filipino and I live in Cebu City, Philippines.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English, Cebuano, and Filipino.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Dumaguete Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Ace and Nonoy Po.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day, with a morning session from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my serve, and the area I need to improve the most is my mentality.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I play in the 16U and 18U categories. I am ranked No. 1 in the 16U boys category and No. 2 in the 18U boys category by Unified Tennis Philippines.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my greatest achievements so far was winning gold in the 16U boys singles in Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia. I also won the 16U doubles title there.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

No, I do not currently have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to represent my country in the upcoming Davis Cup Juniors.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to represent my country and earn a scholarship at a Division 1 college in America.

I would most like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because he has been my idol since I was 11 and he is so fun to watch.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy going to the gym, going on vacation, and having quality time with my parents.
