My name is Madison Khan. I am 16 years old, born on January 1, 2010. I am Trinidadian and I live in Port of Spain.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 10.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Tennis Patrons Academy (TPA).
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Andrew Thornton and Leeane Thornton, and I also train with Movement Mechanics for fitness.
What is your weekly training routine?
Due to in-person school, I train between 12 and 15 hours of tennis per week and do around 6 hours of fitness training.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strengths are my baseline aggression and my forehand. I would like to improve my confidence at the net.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Under 18 category and I am currently ranked No. 1 in my country.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my greatest achievements is representing my country in the Junior Billie Jean King Cup team competition for three consecutive years.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Trinidad, Barbados, St Lucia, El Salvador, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and the United States (Florida).

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to continue building my tennis and mental game and to compete in more ITF tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play college tennis and travel the world playing tennis.

I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because I am inspired by her energy and aggression on court.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and running races.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mom, who always supports and loves me even on my worst days.
