My name is Lukne Minkeviciute. I am 12 years old and I was born on May 20, 2014. I am Lithuanian, and I live in Panevėžys and Vilnius, Lithuania.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Lithuanian, English, Russian, and Spanish, and I also know a little Latvian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was five and a half years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I currently train at 76 Tennis Academy.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Aistis Slajus and Domantas Šakinis.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day. My training sessions start at different times, and I usually train until 7:30 p.m. I work hard to improve every day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I think my greatest strength is my left hand, and I would like to improve my right hand even more.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the U12 category, and I am currently ranked No. 13 in Lithuania.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I am still working towards my biggest achievements. Right now, my main goal is to win the Lithuanian National Championship, which will take place next week.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have played tournaments in Latvia.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not have any sponsors at the moment.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win the Lithuanian National Championship.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest tennis dream is to represent Lithuania at the highest international level.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Novak Djokovic because I think he is an amazing player. I have admired him since I was seven years old, and he inspires me to work hard and never give up.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy dancing, drawing, and doing sports.

I would like to dedicate this interview to everyone who is just starting to play tennis. I hope it encourages them to believe in themselves and keep working towards their dreams.
