My name is Lubomir Tomasovic. I am 13 years old, born on August 31, 2012. I am Slovak and I live in Sereď, Slovakia.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Slovak and I am currently learning English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no tennis players in my family.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at HSC Piešťany.
What is your coaching team?
My team includes a tennis coach and a fitness trainer.
What is your weekly training routine?
On Monday I do one hour of fitness training. On Tuesday I have 1.5 hours of group training. On Wednesday and Thursday I have one hour of individual practice. Friday is my day off. On Saturday I train in a group for 1.5 hours, and Sunday is also a rest day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strengths are my swing and speed. I need to improve my mentality and my first serve.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the older students category. I am currently ranked No. 20, and my best position in the younger students category was No. 17.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My achievements include winning a Category C singles event, reaching 3rd place in doubles in Categories A and B tournaments, and participating in both the Slovak Summer and Winter Championships.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have mainly competed in Slovakia and also played in two Tennis Europe tournaments.
Do you have any sponsors?
I currently do not have any sponsors. I live with my father, who works hard to support my tennis journey.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to finish in the Top 5 in my region and reach the Top 20 in Slovakia.
What is your tennis dream?
I want to train more, improve my game, and achieve better results.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
Roger Federer is my biggest role model. He inspires me so much that I also play with a one-handed backhand.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
I enjoy watching tennis videos on Instagram and YouTube.
