My name is Lola Bourdenet. I am 13 years old and was born on July 11, 2012. I am French and I live in Saint-Gilles, Réunion Island.
What languages do you speak?
I speak French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 or 7 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my aunt plays tennis and now mainly plays padel.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Tennis Club de la Baie de Saint-Paul (TCBSP) in Réunion Island.
What is your coaching team?
My coach is Mattias Thiolica.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train approximately 13 hours per week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My backhand is one of my strongest shots and is very consistent. My forehand has a little more power. I need to improve my second serve.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the 13/14 age category and I am currently ranked 15.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Last year, I competed in the French Championships at Roland-Garros in the 3rd Series category. This year, I will play the French Championships in the 13/14 category. I was also selected as a ball kid at Roland-Garros Grand Slam just one week ago.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Réunion Island and mainland France.
Do you have any sponsors?
I receive support from HEAD.
What is your goal for 2026?
I would like to achieve a strong result at the French Championships.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to one day play a Grand Slam match, preferably at Roland-Garros.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my friends and having fun.
