What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Lidia Sadowska. I was born on February 20, 2013. I am Polish and I live in Warsaw.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Polish, English, and French.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was six years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
We all play tennis because we are passionate about the sport, but I am the only one who plays it at a competitive level.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at WKT Mera Warszawa, one of the biggest clubs in Warsaw.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Piotr Zieliński from WKT Mera, Gabriela Kraska from WKT Mera, and my fitness coach Krzysztof Miara.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I like playing offensively. My greatest strengths are my determination, discipline, and strong, charismatic personality. I am working on improving my net game and my physical strength.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I currently compete in the U14 category. My PZT ranking is No. 18 in Poland. My highest ranking so far was No. 5 in U12.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements so far include winning the Polish U12 Cup in singles. I have also been runner-up at the Polish U12 Championships in doubles and runner-up at the Warsaw U14 Championships in singles.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in Poland and internationally in Europe. My 2026 international schedule has included tournaments in Lithuania, Austria, Slovenia, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, and Belgium.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I currently play with Wilson rackets. I do not have a racket or clothing sponsor, but I receive a lot of support from my club, WKT Mera, which I really appreciate.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to break into the Top 8 of the Tennis Europe rankings in the Under 14 category, as well as to win the Polish Singles Championship.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to win 22 Grand Slam titles and become World No. 1.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Maria Sharapova. I admire her elegant style of play.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Besides tennis, I enjoy water sports, spending time with my family and my cats, and painting.
