What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Klárka Těšínská. I am 17 years old and I was born on October 10, 2008. I am from the Czech Republic and I live in Pilsen.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Czech, English, and German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of five.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my dad plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at TK Škoda Plzeň.
Who is your coach?
My coach is Milan Gosler.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My best quality in tennis is my forehand, and I also have a very good backhand. What I need to improve is my serve and my volleys.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I play in the U18 category, but I am now playing more in the adult category. My national U18 ranking is No. 467.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest successes so far include finishing third at the regional championship and reaching a singles final in a women’s tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in the Czech Republic and Germany.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I currently use a Yonex Ezone 100 racket with Yonex PolyTour Strike strings. I wear Nike shoes, and I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win a women’s tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest dream is to win a Grand Slam.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite tennis players are Jannik Sinner and Marta Kostyuk because I like their style of play.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like to go jogging.
