My name is Kerem Asal. I am 12 years old and I was born on January 9, 2014. I am Turkish and I live in Samsun, Türkiye.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, both my mother and father play tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I am a player at Samsun Green Golf Tennis Club.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team consists of Seracettin Turan, Hamit Şanverdi, and Abdurahman Şanverdi. My conditioning coach is Sercan Aydemir and my Pilates instructor is Jülide Pınar Erbil.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six days a week with tennis, conditioning, and Pilates sessions.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength as a player is my technique. I am currently working on improving my physical strength and power.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Under-12 category and I am currently ranked No. 31 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements so far include winning the Group 1 Championship in the Under-12 category, becoming a finalist in the Under-12 Summer Cup doubles event, and reaching the quarterfinals in Tennis Europe Category 2 tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Türkiye.

My goal for 2026 is to become the Turkish champion in my age category.
What is your tennis dream?
My biggest dream is to become a successful professional tennis player.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy watching tennis matches, swimming, playing digital games, spending time with my family, and traveling to new countries.
