My name is Joaquin Hernandez Peralta. I am 15 years old, born on April 9, 2010. I am Venezuelan and I live in Cornelius, North Carolina, USA.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 3.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brothers, my father, and my family are involved in tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Altitude Academy in Huntersville, North Carolina, USA.
What is your coaching team?
My coaching team includes Robbie Mudge, my brother, and my dad.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my backhand, and I continue working to improve every area of my game.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I compete in the Boys’ 16 category and I am currently ranked around No. 224 nationally in the USA. Previously, I was ranked No. 8 nationally in Boys’ 14.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements include being runner-up twice in national doubles events at the Boys’ 14 National Clay and Hard Court Championships in 2025.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have competed in Venezuela and the United States.
Do you have any sponsors?
Currently, I do not have sponsors, but I am actively looking for sponsorship opportunities.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to reach a UTR of 11.5.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play college tennis for Wake Forest University.

I would like to meet Carlos Alcaraz because I would love to understand how he generates such incredible forehand speed.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy playing paintball.
