My name is Daniel Costa Sestelo. I was born on October 21, 2013. I am from Brazil. I currently live in Galicia, Spain.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 6.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother also plays tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Mercantil de Vigo in Vigo, Galicia, Spain.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Alex Soto and Imanol.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train around 10 hours of tennis per week and complete an additional 5 hours of physical training.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not currently have sponsors, but I would really like to have one.
What racket do you play with?
I play with the Wilson Blade v9.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I currently compete in the U14 category, and next year, as a second-year U14 player, my ranking is expected to be around No. 6 in Spain.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my best achievements include being Galicia Champion twice (2023 and 2025), winning the Galicia Tour 12 times, reaching the Warriors Tour final in Gijón, reaching the Round of 16 at the Spanish Championship, and making the Galicia U16 Championship quarterfinals as a first-year U14 player.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to win Roland-Garros.
Which players would you most like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Joao Fonseca and Aryna Sabalenka because they inspire me.
