My name is Isil Ildam. I am 10 years old and I was born on March 4, 2016. I am Turkish and I live in Balıkesir, Turkiye.
What languages do you speak?
My native language is Turkish, and I am currently learning English and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was five years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, there are no other tennis players in my family. I am the only one!
In which tennis club do you train?
I currently train at Körfez Tenis Akademi.
What is your coaching team?
My coaches are Ahmet Ulvi Baskak, Cemile Ülker, Berat Calapverdi, and Ahmethan Sarı.
What is your weekly training routine?
I play tennis on court four days a week. Additionally, I do my specific tennis exercises and physical training every single day.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I would say my greatest strength is my speed and agility on the court. However, I believe I need to work more on improving my backhand and my serve to make my game even stronger.
What is your age category and ranking?
I compete in the U10 category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
So far, my biggest achievement was becoming a finalist in the Winter Cup organized by the Turkish Tennis Federation. Most recently, I won the championship title in two of the last three tournaments I competed in, including our provincial tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have played tournaments in Turkey, but I am planning to play in international tennis camps and tournaments in Europe soon.

I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your goal for 2026?
My main goal for 2026 is to improve my game, perform well in national U10 tournaments, and participate in an international tournament.
What is your tennis dream?
My ultimate dream is to become a world-renowned tennis player known globally for my achievements. I want to play on the biggest stadium courts in the world, win major trophies, and proudly represent my country on the international stage.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would most like to meet Rafael Nadal. Watching his career story and seeing his legendary fighting spirit inspired me deeply. Because of this, one of my biggest goals is to go to the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, train there, and meet him in person.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I really enjoy playing the piano, swimming, taking care of my pet, and hanging out with my friends.
