What is your name, birthdate, nationality, residence?
My name is Hannah Petschnig. I was born on August 30, 2013. I am from Klagenfurt, Austria.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English, German, and Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was four years old because my school offered it as an extracurricular activity.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Both my dad and my mom enjoyed playing tennis as a hobby.
In which tennis clubs do you train?
I train at Matchpoint Mallorca and at Sportunion Klagenfurt.
Who are your coaches?
My coaches are Robert Maieritsch, Isaac Garcia, and Nina Stankovská.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I think my greatest strength is my hardworking mindset and willingness to improve. I am working on improving my footwork so I can become more efficient and effective on court.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I am currently ranked No. 16 in the national rankings.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest successes have been winning a Tennis Europe Category 2 tournament in doubles, reaching the doubles final at the Austrian Championships, and reaching multiple singles quarterfinals at Category 1, 2, and 3 Tennis Europe tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Austria, Spain, Slovenia, Greece, and the Netherlands.
What equipment brands do you currently use, and are you sponsored by any of them?
I use a Babolat Pure Drive Team racket, Head Lynx strings, ASICS Gel Challenger shoes, and I like Nike clothes. I do not have a sponsor yet.
What is your next goal?
My next goal is to further close the gap to the top European players and win more Tennis Europe titles.
What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to reach a level where I can look back and know I made the most out of my potential.
Who is your favorite player and why?
My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz because of his sportsmanship, attitude, and style of play.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing video games, and watching movies.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my parents, who always believe in me and support me every step of the way.
