My name is Eliezer Santos. I am 13 years old and I was born on January 12, 2013. I am Dominican and I live in the Claret area of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and I am learning English. I understand it and can answer better every time.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis alone against a wall when I was eight years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
I am currently the only one in my family who plays competitive tennis.
In which tennis club do you train?
I train at Santo Domingo Tennis Club, also known as La Bocha. I started there as a ball boy and later had the opportunity to train there.
What is your coaching team?
I train with Alex Cote and the Dominican Republic national team, with several coaches, a fitness trainer, and the support of my family.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train six days a week, including technical work, tactical work, physical training, matches, and recovery.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my competitive mentality. I am improving my serve and my concentration.
What is your age category and national ranking?
I am ranked No. 1 in U14 in the Dominican Republic, No. 3 in U16, and No. 50 in Central America.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have been ranked No. 1 nationally in U14 and have competed in COTECC and ITF tournaments.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in the Dominican Republic, Aruba, El Salvador, and Canada. I currently train in Miami, United States.
